Aircraft API

The Aircraft API is used to retrieve information about all registered aircrafts for each airline in the industry.

The API enables you to:

  • List all registered Aircraft information for each airline maintained in Toronto Pearson Airport.
  • Get specific details about an aircraft using an IATA code.

From the Aircraft API, you will get the following information:

  • Aircraft Registration
  • Aircraft Tail
  • Aircraft Owner
  • Aircraft type
  • Aircraft subtype
  • Seat configuration
  • Get a list of aircraft matching a given airline name or code.

Sample API Usage:

The following examples show you how to use the API to:

  1. Get specific details about all aircrafts for an airline by using airline ICAO code
    curl -X GET 'https://api.torontopearson.com/ppc-partner/ARIS/REF/ACR?Owner=AFR

  2. Get specific details about an aircraft using a tail number
    curl -X GET 'https://api.torontopearson.com/ppc-partner/ARIS/REF/ACR?Tail=AFRITH

  3. Get specific details about an aircraft using a tail number
    curl -X GET 'https://api.torontopearson.com/ppc-partner/ARIS/REF/ACR/F-GITH

     

XML or JSON ?

The default response type is JSON. To return the response in XML, set the HTTP Header Accept to application/xml.
